GIB Scope Setting
The GIB enforces enforces access to individual records by country and Region. The GIB Scope setting has three modes.
All - The member will have access to all records regardless of Region and country.
Region - The member will have access to records that correspond to the Member's Region. An activation record is assigned to one and only one region. Likewise, through the SSO assignment from GE, a member is assigned to one and only one Country and thus assigned to one and only one Region. When the Member's region is the same as the activation records region, it can be viewed.
Country - Much like the region, you can manage access at the country level. When the activation's country agrees with the member's country, the member will be able to view/edit the record. You can also assign additional countries to the member so that they can view/edit their assigned country as well as a list of additional countries.
