Introduction
Once the app store is installed, the user will be able to search, discover install and update mobile applications that are assigned to them.
Overview
Types of mobiles apps available to users

Public apps - Apps available in public app stores (iTunes, Google Play, etc). The user will be redirected to the appropriate page within the store when the Install is clicked in their enterprise app store.

Private apps - Apps that you have build internally and uploaded an .ipa, .apk or .zip file into the platform. The app will be installed on the device directly when the Install button is clicked.

Web apps - Apps that are pure HTML5 apps. A shortcut or web clip will installed on their device launching the site in full screen mode. Currently only available on iOS and Android.

B2B or VPP apps - Apps hosted in the iTunes app store that are downloadable via a iOS VPP redemption token.
Views in the App Store
The apps store has four main tabs for navigation.

Home | The default screen when the app store is launched, shows featured apps in one row and as many apps as will fit below. | |
Featured | Apps that have been marked as Featured will appear here, the app will scroll if there are more apps than will fit on one screen. | |
My Apps | All apps available to this user on this device, if there are more apps than will fit on one screen, more apps will be added as the user scrolls. | |
Settings | Contains the current users name and email, a button to Unregister device. This button does not remove the user, simply removes the device from the user. |
App Discovery
There are several ways to discover apps in the enterprise app store.
Scrolling
In any of the views, if the number of apps available exceeds the screen size, the user can scroll down to find more apps.
Categories
In the Featured and My Apps tabs, a categories button is available to filter the apps shown to those associated with the selected category. Simply click on the Categories button.
Select the category to filter the listed apps.
Search
In the Home, Featured, and My Apps tabs, a search button is available to filter the apps displayed. Click the search icon (displayed as a magnifying glass).
Type in an app name, or partial name.
Select the found app to view details.
App Installs
Installing Public Apps
When the user touches the Install button in the enterprise app store for a public app, the user will be forwarded to the appropriate public app store to install the selected app.
Installing B2B Apps
When the user touches the Install button in the enterprise app store for a B2B app, the user will be forwarded to the iTunes store with an available redemption VPP redemption code. Read more about VPP apps here.
Installing Private Apps
If the app is private AND it has a test build associated with it AND the user has access to the test build on the device, the user will see two install buttons.
Installing Web Apps
Due to platform difference, the install of web apps is slightly different on iOS than Android.
In either case, the user will start the process by selecting Install on the app details screen.

Installing Web Apps for Android

The Android Shortcut is now installed.
