Introduction
The Global Install Base is an API that allows GE Internal Support and Audit team to query customer install information for the GE HealthCare products we support. This article will explain how to update the GIB.
How to Update the GIB
- To reach this page, click on the Update GIB link at the bottom of the desired Product Activation Record.
- This will bring you to the GIB Updates page.
- On this page you can view information on the Product Activation Record and change the GIB Status, GIB SID, and/or Comments.

- To update the GIB, enter in the information required for the update in the text boxes and click on the blue Submit under the right column.
